
Remove the second skin after 48 hours. Take it off in the shower, pulling downward.

Once removed, wash the tattoo 2–3 times daily with unscented soap. Let it air dry for 5–10 minutes, then apply an unscented lotion (Aveeno or Lubriderm recommended).
Clean the tattoo 2-3 times a day with non-scented soap.
Let the tattoo air dry for 5-10 minutes before applying a non-scented lotion.
Aveeno, or Lubriderm is recommended.
Clean and moisturize your tattoo daily for 4-6 weeks.
Continue applying lotion regularly to keep your tattoo healthy long-term.
After the initial healing phase, using sunscreen is highly recommended to protect your tattoo.
Some scabbing and flaking are normal. Redness, bruising, and swelling can also occur.

Avoid direct sun exposure while your tattoo is healing.
If you are in the sun, wear loose clothing that covers it.
Do not submerge your tattoo in any bodies of water (oceans, lakes, rivers, baths, etc.).
Do not exfoliate or use scented products or anything containing alcohol on your tattoo.
Avoid strenuous exercise that may irritate the area during healing.
Do not allow pets to lick your tattoo.
Healing typically takes 4–6 weeks, but may take longer depending on your health and age.
Certain conditions can extend healing time and may increase the need for a touch-up.
